The disciples will have to endure hard trials of persecution. They need strength and assurance to bear witness to this new life offered by Jesus. The Spirit of Truth or Advocate will be that strength and assurance. Jesus was the first to endure his trials: his contemporaries did not want to see him as God's envoy and this cost him his life. Likewise, for the disciples and for us Christians, witnessing to Jesus can cost us to the point of losing our lives, so the Spirit of Truth is there so that our faith does not waver. Besides, Jesus has already said: "Courage! I am the conqueror of the world".

Diocese of Miarinarivo

Pope Francis has accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Miarinarivo, presented by H.E. Mgr Jean Claude Randrianarisoa. At the same time, the Supreme Pontiff has appointed H.E. Mgr Marie Fabien Raharilamboniaina, as Apostolic Admnistrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same Diocese.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
