Simeon was a true and religious elder who awaited Israel's liberation, who met Jesus in the Temple courtyard, gave honor and praise to God for having seen the work of salvation. Pope Francis has accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Miarinarivo, presented by H.E. Mgr Jean Claude Randrianarisoa.
