Thursday July 8, 2021 - Fourteenth week of Ordinary Time - The reign of God is very near. Convert and Believe in the Gospel - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 10, 7-15

Dear Christians, the Gospel describes the message and character of missionary disciples.

The Kingdom of God is the essence of the mission: a kingdom of grace and life, a kingdom of justice and peace. But before preaching, you must first be convinced yourself; because the gospel is not "hearsay," the mission is not mercenary, but continues, "updating" the teachings and work of Jesus Himself.

Faith is not imposed, but given; it is up to whoever hears to decide whether to believe or not. We should not be discouraged even if we are rejected by some people because Jesus himself was rejected by men. May we burn with the faith and the zeal of the Apostles in order to have Jesus loved by all men. Amen.
