There can be two reasons for swollen feet: the first is the result of a blow or injury, and the second is water stagnating in the flesh of the foot. Foot swelling can occur at any age. In addition to the above-mentioned reasons, there are many others that cause swollen feet: poor circulation, malnutrition, filariasis and intolerance to other medications. Swollen feet should always be treated by a doctor. Swelling can also be the result of other illnesses such as varicose veins, kidney disease, heart disease...
Saint Francis de Sales, Master of the Church, is one of the saints in whom Pope Francis takes a great interest. He even wrote an apostolic letter commemorating the 400th anniversary of the saint's death, and gave it the title "Totum amoris est".
