Third Sunday of Advent: Rejoice, for the Lord is near; the spirit of the Lord is within me, and he has sent me to bring good news to the poor. Holy Gospel written by Saint John 1, 6-8; 19-28: There was a man sent by God, his name was John; he came as a witness to proclaim the Light, so that everyone might believe because of his words. But he is not the Light, he only came as a witness to reveal the Light... The third Sunday of the Lord's coming is called Joy Sunday. Joy should fill Christ's disciples, in easy things as well as in difficult ones...

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
