February 19 — Not much has come down to us about the life of St. Gabin, but this little is enough to appreciate his virtue and his faith that we can take as a model. He lived in the third century.

Gabin is the brother of pope Caïus whose pontificated lasted from 283 until 296. They lived under Diocletian's empire. Gabin taught and proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Arrested and put in prison, with his daughter Saint Suzanne who refused to marry the emperor's son, Gabin succumbed to fatigue and hunger.

For a genuine and authentic transformation

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
