September 8, 2024 — Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time — Jesus proclaimed the Gospel of the kingdom and cured every disease among the people — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark (Mk 7: 31-37)

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses of the face caused by a virus or bacteria; there are four types of these holes: the maxillary sinus, the ethmoidal sinus, the frontal sinus and the sphenoidal sinus. Other causes of sinusitis include diseases of the nose, throat and teeth, air pollution and a weakened immune system. There are two types of sinusitis: chronic and acute. The Church was convinced from the beginning that prayer is the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not separate from prayer. The Holy Spirit inspired the first Christians to have the fervour to pray. It is the Holy Spirit who makes prayer possible. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
