October 1, 2023 — Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time — Year A — My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; I know them, and they follow me — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew (Mt 21: 28-32)

Sleep is a fundamental need for all human beings, especially if they want to be healthy. Sleep is a source of energy. When a person sleeps, all the cells of the liver and flesh are renewed, the immune system increases, the memory becomes stronger and better, and the hormones needed for the body's growth are stable. Full sleep for adults is seven to eight hours. Not only adults suffer from insomnia, but children too. Possible causes: difficulty or too late falling asleep, waking up frequently during the night, waking up too early... Reasons: messy sleeping area, too much light, noise, food that is difficult to digest...

The family is the fundamental element of society; if you want society to be decent, let's strengthen moral values; if you want society to develop, let's help the family to seek the development of its means of subsistence; if we want freedom, peace and union to be established, let's strengthen family relations. Catechesis on the family, in collaboration with Fr Eric Frank Randriamiandrinirinarivo.
