Sunday after the birth of the Lord - feast of the holy family: a loving family, paradise on earth; may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts; and the word of Christ will dwell in you in abundance. Children are a gift from God, bringing joy and happiness to the couple. Being a child is a gift from God. Jesus forgives human sins and mercy is his will; as indicated in Matthew 9, 13: ‘Go and learn what it means that I delight in mercy and not in sacrifice, for I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.
