05 May - Udith von Sangerhausen, born and married in Thuringia; died in Kulmsee (former East Prussia) on 12 May 1260. Became an early widow, she left her country and her relatives.
Vermicompost has been used in Madagascar for many years. It is used as a fertiliser for organic agricultural production. Among those using this fertiliser is the ‘Lanja Miakatra’ association. The association's founder Ranaivoarison Basile, Papa Bio, shared his knowledge and experience on the subject.
May 1st - St. Joseph the Worker, St. Joseph the Carpenter is none other than the same St. Joseph, Foster Father of Jesus in Nazareth, whom we celebrated on March 19th. The day of May 1st is dedicated to Saint Joseph but also to all workers since he is the patron saint.
