October 18, 2023 — Saint Luke, evangelist — Feast — I chose you from the world, to go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke (Lk 10: 1-9)
All aspects of this common good are affected when people are overwhelmed by the love of money. Remember that how we live and what we do affects others elsewhere because our daily lives are interconnected. The common good is our Christian hope, a hope that will benefit humanity. Catechesis on the family, in collaboration with Fr. Eric Frank Randriamiandrinirinarivo.
We encourage all Christians to sympathise and pray for our nation as it faces this turning point, and for the common good. Much blood has been shed and lives lost since 1972, so we call for peace for all. We call on everyone to uphold justice and respect values. We need to be able to listen to each other and discuss ideas.

We, the bishops of Madagascar, would like to express our deep gratitude to you for having responded to our invitation and for having brought this jubilee initiated by Pope Francis to life spiritually. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
