27 July - Saint Nathalie of Cordoba martyred in 852. During the persecution unleashed by the Caliph Abd al-Rahman II, like many inhabitants of Cordoba, Aurelius and his wife Nathalie, as well as their cousins Felix and his wife Liliose (or Liliane), pretended to be Muslims.

But one day they met a Christian, naked, perched upside down on a donkey, while the two executioners who were escorting him were whipping him. Aurelius and Nathalie, from then on, stopped pretending and openly practiced their faith. Nathalie and Liliose appeared in the streets without the veil over their faces. A Palestinian deacon, St. George, was also arrested and all five were beheaded on July 27, 852.
