Like every year, the Social and Ecological Apostolate of the Society of Jesus in Madagascar organizes social days, to talk about and find sustainable solutions to the various problems of our society today. As the theme indicates, this event will talk about elections in order to (i) prevent various conflicts of a political nature where different factions or social movements confront each other, by emphasizing ethics and morality in the exercise of political functions... Emission "miaina sy mitia".

(ii) to minimize the dissensions and discords of social, cultural (ethnicity) and religious origins that can degenerate into latent or open conflicts, and finally (iii) to outline the orientations that allow to establish an environment where the culture of law, the culture of dialogue and the promotion of ethics prevail.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, You who have come in such large numbers to take part in this national pilgrimage, as well as all of you who are following it from home through the media. We, the bishops of Madagascar, would like to express our deep gratitude to you for having responded to our invitation and for having brought this jubilee initiated by Pope Francis to life spiritually. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
