25 May - Bède, known as the Venerable (in Latin: Beda Venerabilis), is an Anglo-Saxon monk and scholar born around 672/673 in Northumbria and died on 26 May 735. At the age of seven, Bede was sent to the monastery of Wearmouth by his family to receive the teaching of Benedict Biscop, then Ceolfrith.

Amoebiasis is one of the most deadly parasitic diseases in the world (after malaria and bilharzia). Around 10% of the world's population is thought to be infected by parasitic amoebae of the Entamoeba genus, the most pathogenic of which is Entamoeba histolytica, the agent of amoebiasis. Transmission: via faeces, poorly cleaned food and various types of dirt; it enters the mouth, travels to the intestines and develops there, burrowing through the intestinal wall. May 24 - Mary Help of Christians is one of the titles under which the faithful venerate the Virgin Mary, Mother of God. First mentioned by John Chrysostom around 345, it became very popular after the victory of the coalition of Christian armies over the Turkish fleet, off Lepanto, in 1571.

World Bees Day is celebrated every 20 May. We produce 3,000 to 4,000 tonnes of honey a year, according to figures published by the EDBM in 2023. Madagascar ranks seventh in Africa for honey production. The Malagasy people have been beekeepers for a long time, and have many different types of bee thanks to the availability of trees and plants to produce honey. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
