In Christ, who died and rose from the dead, all has risen. This is where all creation comes to an end, united as one. We have a special respect for St. Francis of Assisi because he teaches us to accept all things in nature as friends. Many people are planting trees, but everyone is encouraged to continue because Madagascar, once a green island, has become a red island; the country has become deserted. When harvests are good, people are keen to get involved in farming and livestock breeding, so technicians are encouraged to continue their research to improve seeds and livestock breeds. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing. It is this love and this salvation that we wish to fill our life so that we have peace.
