27th October - Emeline was a holy woman who joined the Cistercian order at Boulancourt in the diocese of Troyes in Champagne. She lived there in the 12th century. This monastery was very popular at the time.

23rd October - John of Capistran was born on 24th June 1386 in the Kingdom of Naples, more precisely in Capestrano, a town in the province of L'Aquila. His father came to Italy as a member of the court of King Louis I of Naples. He studied at the University of Perugia and married some time later without consummating his marriage.

22 October - Karol Józef Wojtyła was born on 18 May 1920 in Wadowice, Krakow, Poland. He is the second son of Emilia Kaczorowska and Karol Wojtyła. Karol Józef Wojtyła was christened on 20 July 1920. He received First Communion at the age of nine and Confirmation at the age of seventeen.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
