The Episcopal Conference of Madagascar urges the people to promote mutual listening and solidarity in their message after the plenary assembly which was held in Ambatoroka, November 3 to 12, 2021. Here is the full message, read by Bishop Gabriel Randrianantenaina , Bishop of Tsiroanomandidy, Secretary General of the Episcopal Conference of Madagascar.

God's call to all of us human beings is “to be saints”. This is the only call to holiness we have received from the start. Proof which is written in Leviticus: Be holy, for I am holy, your Lord God; sanctify yourselves, and be holy. Catechesis on vocation, with Fr. Wagner Randriamampandry.

The words “yes” are words that express faith, confidence and the will to move forward, so young people who say “yes” are ready to combine their lives with the will of God as they are moving forward into their future. Young people need to connect with each other to build the future. There are young people who stay in touch with a friend and there are those who live in “virtual” relationships or in social networks. At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.

Love and Salvation
