Thursday, 25th August, 2022 — Twenty-first week in Ordinary Time — Stay awake! For you do not know when the Son of Man will come — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 24, 42-51

24th August - Bartholomew, bar-Tolmay in Aramaic, "son of the furrow", is a Jew from Galilee and one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. Ancient Christian tradition identifies him with the disciple Nathanael mentioned in the Gospel according to John.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church calls those who have devoted themselves to the service of the Church "ordained minister," thus "doing his work among the People of God in teaching, worship, and administration as shepherds." Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
