When we pray, we are like the leper who was healed, like Bartime who became blind and regained his sight, like Lazarus who died and was buried in the grave but received new life, from Jesus Christ. St Guillaume de Bourges, as birth name Guillaume de Corbeil, born in  1120 and died on January 10, 1209, is the archbishop of Bourges from 1199 to 1209. He is the St Guillaume of the calendar.

The whole character of Jesus Christ, both as a human being and as God, contributes to salvation and happiness. All the time that Jesus lived on earth thanks to the grace of prayer can be considered as our present life, from which we can derive spiritual benefits, which is nothing other than the grace of meditation. Many Saint has the name Julian but today 9th of January we celebrate Saint Julian of Antioche the husband of St Basillisse. We call them virgin spouses and religious martyrs.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
