What distinguishes two persons of the same dignity is that they are “man and woman”. The doctrine of the Church on society states: "Women are the complement of men, and women are the complement of men", i.e. they complement each other physically and mentally, but there is also the complementarity of humanity itself. People with disabilities are full human beings: they have rights and responsibilities. Catechesis on human dignity, with Fr. Marcel Ranivomanalina.
Tuesday 10th, may 2022 — Fourth Week of Easter — My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; I know them, and they follow me — Gospel of Jesus Christ according Saint John 10, 22-30
Jesus said to his disciples:
"You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.
But I say to you,
everyone who looks at a woman with lust
has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
If your right eye causes you to sin,
tear it out and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one of your members
than to have your whole body thrown into Gehenna.
And if your right hand causes you to sin,
cut it off and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one of your members
than to have your whole body go into Gehenna.
"It was also said,
Whoever divorces his wife must give her a bill of divorce.
But I say to you,
whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful)
causes her to commit adultery,
and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery."
Jesus said to his disciples:
"If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always.
"Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.
Those who do not love me do not keep my words;
yet the word you hear is not mine
but that of the Father who sent me.
"I have told you this while I am with you.
The Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you everything
and remind you of all that I told you."
