It is the turn of the authorities of the Jewish community to discuss the subject of Jesus. Jesus never deprives anyone of his freedom to stand against or for Him. In the Gospel, there are many who know Him by appearance or by belonging, but do not believe: for them He is from Bethlehem, and of the lineage of David . Just as many have seen his deeds and heard his teachings, but once intimidated, even threatened, they fell silent. Only the people, ignorant of the Law, considered condemned, believed in Jesus.

It is obvious here that it is neither by cognition nor by ambition that one can reach God, but by an open heart. It is not the one who knows what is holy, but the one who recognizes his insignificance and surrenders himself entirely to God. This is what it means to believe. God is mystery, He does not manifest Himself according to human predictions, in the face of this, what we must do is to pray constantly: "Reveal to me your will, oh Father, that I may accomplish it. Amen".
