December 13, 2023 — Wednesday, Second Week of Advent — Behold, the Lord comes to save his people; blessed are those prepared to meet him — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew (Mt 11: 28-30)

People have many basic needs if they are to develop as fully-fledged individuals: needs for self-fulfilment, needs for esteem (self-confidence and self-respect, recognition, etc.), needs for belonging and love, needs for security, physiological needs (food, etc.). However, one of these needs has not yet been met: the fundamentals of "food, shelter and security". Catechesis on the Church, the family and development, in collaboration with Fr Bertrand Ratovoalinirina.

The attitude of the ancients who said "Those who are only like their fathers and mothers are fools" is to feel the desire and interest to develop or improve. For many years since the 1980s, people have been moving to the big cities because they say there are jobs there and it's easy to make money, but that's not the case. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
