When people have the habit of spreading rumors and giving false news, it is a bad trait. The reason for rumors is often due to lack of love and misunderstanding, jealousy, revenge. Rumors can alienate friends, damage reputation and cause related violence. Rumor mongers offend people, this can be declared a sin. Catechesis on the spread of rumors, in collaboration with Fr.
