The meaning of dialogue comes from the Greek words "dialogue", "dia" and "logos", i.e. "dia" does not mean two but a crossing, the "logos" which means words comes from 'crossing oneself or through conversation. The discussion is not a "negotiation" but an opportunity to express what is persuasive for oneself, with respect for others.
