On Holy Saturday there is a special celebration, a celebration of Jesus who conquered death and rose from the dead. There are three aspects to the celebration: Firstly, Christ the Light shown through the New Fire and the Easter Fires/Candles; secondly, Christ the Word of God through the Holy Reading; and lastly, Christ the Source of Life symbolising Baptism. Catechesis on Holy Saturday, in collaboration with Fr. Rakotondramanana Soloniaina Jean Emilien.
