13 August - Pontien is the 18th Bishop of Rome. Of Roman origin and the son of a man named Calpurnius, he occupied the episcopal see of St. Peter for five years, two months and 22 days.

All of our prayers end with the word AMEN, which is a Hebrew word; for the Jews, it is to confirm and conclude their oath (final word), meaning "I accept it", "that it be fulfilled". Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
