30 December - Saint Roger was born in Cannes around the year 1060. He lived in the ravages of war due to the opposition of the Norman barons against the authority of Robert Guiscard.
Men participate as prophets and witnesses of Christ and receive help and grace to proclaim the Gospel among family members and neighbours. Men also share in the dignity of being a king. Man is the king of nature. Catechesis on the communion of the baptised, with Fr Rafidison Abdon.

29 December - Thomas Becket is born in 1117 to a wealthy family in London. With the support of his family, he was able to continue his studies in Paris. He worked with Thibaut, Archbishop of Canterbury, who sent him to Rome from 1151 to 1153 and to the schools of Bologna and Auxerre where he trained as a lawyer.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
