22 November - Born into a noble Roman family, she dedicated her life to God at a very young age and took a vow of virginity. When she reached marriageable age, her parents chose her as their husband, Valerian, a pagan. After several days of prayer and fasting, arrives the wedding night: she reveals her secret to Valerian, and asks him to respect her virginity, as well as to convert.

November 20 - Edmond was born 841 in Norbury. He is the son of Æthelweard, in Kent, a descendant of the Saxon kings of East Anglia. At the age of fourteen, he was chosen by King Æthelstan to succeed him as head of the kingdom, because this king was going to live as a hermit in the Holy Land, to end his life in prayer and repentance.

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
